Team dsm-firmenich PostNL coach Phil West: “It’s the first time the team is racing in Langkawi and we’re looking forward to competing in some beautiful countryside. We go to the race with a nice group of six riders, which includes Johan and Bjoern, so it will be a good learning experience for them. Max showed in the Vuelta a España that he has good legs so we will go with him as our GC finisher, and of course the Cameron Highlands stage is a pivotal day in that battle. There are also a lot of sprint opportunities during the week where we will target them with Casper as our finisher. The multiple sprint days also allow us to really work on the process and fine tune that. With the group we have, I think we can look forward to a nice week of racing.”
