Team DSM embark on purpose-led sports nutrition project in collaboration with DSM and Sanas

In 2021, Team DSM are to develop their own high-level pro cycling-specific sports nutrition range alongside their new title partner DSM and sports nutrition partner Sanas, who guarantee the modern production of customised, high-quality sports nutrition products.

The project is built with close collaboration between the team’s nutrition and scientific experts and the specialists from DSM who are world-leaders in nutritional ingredients. Sanas’ expert knowledge and ability to integrate the latest science and ingredients into their products creates the perfect product development environment for the team’s personalised nutrition range.

The team will continue to build on their current science and nutrition-led approach, with innovative products such as Mixfit Inc, personalising the riders’ nutrition intake so that they can perform to the best of their abilities on the bike. The team and DSM have already worked in close collaboration with the creation of custom nutritional products; with Life’s™ OMEGA, FloraGLO® and OPTISHARP® all nutritional innovations that have been of great effect and benefitting the riders’ performance, health and recovery.

2021 Team DSM’s Head of Science, Narelle Neumann said: “We are delighted to begin developing our team-specific sports nutrition range, specifically fitted to the demands and rigours of professional cycling at the highest level.
